Translated by Joan Riviere. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, slightly more pronounced to end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Deckled text block edges. Minor brown drops to top text block edge. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Moderate tanning to spine. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
