NY: Atheneum, 1964. First. Hard Bound. Faded spine and faded slipcase, rest VG+/No jacket, but slipcase.. de Joinville was a son of the King of France who served briefly on General McClellan's staff. He was accepted as a reasonable artist.
The preface of the book is by the Comte de Paris and text by modern historians (one General "Jumping Jim" Gavin of WWII fame]. Oversized book, great drawings which are well represented. Contained in a slipcase.
