London: John Murray, 1963. 1st Edition. Quarter Cloth & Hard Boards. Very Good Plus/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 275pp. Illustrated with numerous diagrams and photographic plates. Dust wrapper not price clipped. There is a tear to the wrapper across the head of the spine, that has been repaired with acid free archival tape to the rear of the wrapper. An area of loss of 1cm x 1 cm to thefront of the wrapper near the head of the spine. Rubbing to the corners of the wrapper. A 0.5 cm split to the cloth at the head of the spine and light shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine, otherwise the book is clean, fresh, tight and in very good condition.
