Signed by author on limitation page. Pages remain unopened at fore edge folds. Woodcut frontis by Clare Leighton. Publisher correction slip tipped in (Joiner and Steele Ltd publised the later numbered Furnival Books with the William Jackson imprint). There are light pencilled bookseller marks on the front endpapers, otherwise book is unmarked. Issued without DJ. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 67 pages .

Stella Benson (1892-1933) novelist, poet, and travel writer. She lived in China from 1920, whilst continuing to travel widely. She died in Hongay Indo-China in 1933.
