London: The Religious Tract Society Red/brown covers with gilt, blind-stamped rules on spine and decoration on both boards, 381pp plus 6pp of adverts, yellow endpapers. ND, but mid-Victorian with neat gift inscription on ffep dated 1867. More modern ownership name below and owner's sticker (inscription writer) on front pastedown. Covers have rubbing and bumping to extrems, especially head and foot of spine. Very small splits at head of spine. Page edges dusty, light foxing to prelims, covers faded, most of rfep missing, hinges cracked but holding well, eight-page section partially detached, otherwise binding is secure. Ref:104216. Cloth. G+/N/a. 10x16cm.
