About This Item
Huc was a Missionary Apostolic in China who also wrote "Christianity in China, Tartary, and Thibet" as well as "Souvenirs of a Journey through Tartary, Tibet and China." Blue cloth with debossed decoration to cover boards and gilt particulars to spine. Loss to Vol. 1 tail of spine. Both spines fraying at head and tail. Abrasions throughout exterior. Occasional spotting to pages. Vol. 1: [xxxii] 421 pp.; Vol. 2: [viii] 440 pp. 6 x 9 inches.
