About This Item
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1946. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Dark red paper over boards, pictorial dust jacket. 216pp. Very good/very good. Jacket quite edgeworn and rubbed, with archivally closed (on verso) edge tears and large chip at head of spine -- thus complete and even fairly attractive; text block moderately but evenly age toned as usual. A tight, nice first edition of the seventh volume in the popular 27-title "Cherry Ames Nurse Stories" series (1943-68).
