Paris, KY: Edna Talbott Whitley (1st Edition, 1969). Softcover in protective clear plastic sleeve, 146 pages. Ex-library reference (not circulated), with the expected labels, markings, and wear. Spine is faded, with remains of old clear tape used to reinforce. Inner hinges have been reinforced with clear tape that has yellowed with age.

This is the 1st Edition of A CHECKLIST OF KENTUCKY CABINETMAKERS FROM 1775 TO 1859, a very scarce cabinetmaker reference and one of the few places this information was published.

Edna Talbott Whitley was born in 1891 in Paris, Kentucky to Robert C. Talbott, a lawyer, and Sallie Scott Grimes. Edna married Wade Hampton Whitley in 1909. Edna became a Kentucky historian and published works including Kentucky Ante-Bellum Portraiture in 1956, George Berk an Eighteenth Century Painter, and in 1969 she compiled this list of cabinetmakers in Kentucky.
