Paris: Georges Petit and Ludovic Baschet, 1883. First Edition. Very Good. First edition, first printing. Bound in dark red leather lettered in gilt, signed binding of Paul Elder & Co. 18.5" x 15", rivet bound folio. Very Good with minor wear to extremities, trivial fading to all edges; plates are bound in with linen. Light toning and foxing to contents. Crucifix engraving at front is crossed out with oil pencil. A bonus plate of the famous prep school Phillips Exeter Academy is laid-in at rear. A deluxe collection of more than 100 original etchings on hand made paper. Artists included are Braque, Millet, Mordant, Ruysdeal, Van de Velde and many more.
