Barnum fame. With gilt rules and lettering at the bottom of the card. With printed signatures on the verso (the first line of text "Compliments of" partially cut off) Charles S. Stratton. Compliments of Lavinia Warren Stratton. G. W. McNutt, Minnie Warren". Card slightly cropped at top edge. 2 1/2 x 3 5/8"

1870s. Original Photograph by C. Eisenmann of New York City of Charles Sherwood Stratton, known as "Tom Thumb" who lived 1838-1883. VG faint wrinkle diagonally across the photo. Photo is 4x5-1/2 inches; mounted on a card which is 4-1/4 x 6-1/2 inches. .
