Re-edited with forewords describing all the accessible books, tales and ballads in Captain Cox's list and the Complaynt of Scotland 1548-9. 1871, 8vo, approximately 220 x 140 mm, 8½ x 5¾ inches, engraved folding plan of Kenilworth Castle at page 63 plus1 small text illustration, pages: [4], 5-182, 1-87, bound in half morocco, gilt lettering and rules to spine, cloth covers, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt.
