Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1988. First Edition, First Printing. Cloth and Boards. Fine/Fine. Subtitled:" From a Bitter Past to a Better Prospect." A very nice First Edition, First Printing signed by the author on the front free end page and dated, presumably in error, "1921". Book is in Fine condition save for a very small crease to the lower corner on back panel, very minor. Book is bound in very clean gray boards and black cloth, tightly bound, sharp cornered with crisp pages throughout. Dust jacket is in Fine condition and protected in an archival cover. Clean panels and brightly colored. A nice copy by respected economist John Kenneth Galbraith and former UN official and noted journalist Stanislav Menshikov.
