First Edition one of 1,500 copies, 1946, nicely signed by author Carol Green Wilson in blue ink on half title page, comprehensive biography of William R. Staats and historical look of business in early Southern California, 187 pages with 67 vintage black and white photographs. Book is near Fine, top edge lightly foxed else Fine, No previous owner bookplate or writing, tight and square with sharp points, very clean tan publishers' cloth with orange title on front board and spine, Jacket is at least Very Good Plus, original price intact, light sunning to spine, wear at head of spine and a few minor scratches on rear panel. Looks sharp in a new mylar sleeve. Very clean and most presentable Signed First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
