Fine frontis black-and-white photograph of the author as a wee lad. Protected in plastic jacket. Long sections and even chapters devoted to hunting deer, antelope, and sage hens in Idaho and Nevada," long yarns about spectacular trout-fishing trips, one on the Creel Club on the San Gabriel River, on quail shooting, hiking and camping. Well over 50 fine illustrations. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. 330 pp. plus extensive prelims.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
