New York: Hurd and Houghton, 1868. First edition. Hardcover. 229pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Green cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine. Light yellow endsheets. Very good. The edges of the spine and covers are lightly bumped and rubbed. There is a very small stain on the fore edge of the text block. The text block is cracked at the center, however the book is still very sturdy. The pages are tanned. The author wrote under the pseudonym "Barry Gray" and under his own name, Robert Barry Coffin. His books include "'Married Life at Hillside,' 'Out of Town,' and 'Infelicities of Married Life.'.
