Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1921. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/G-. 122, [1] pp. Decorated paper covered boards over green cloth with cactus pattern design on the front panel, spine title gilt. The dust jacket has a cactus pattern similar to the front panel. Nicely Illustrated frontispiece & recto of frontispiece; also with illustrated title page, and head-pieces over contents page and the first poem. Cowboy poetry with a rich Western humor; "In vigor of style, irresistibly suggests a transplanted Kipling. " The author was a colunnist for a Denver newspaper. Near Fine in dust jacket with a loose piece out of bottom of spine; the jacket is otherwise good. The loose piece of the jacket is laid in.
