London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1916. Set of five volumes. Blue cloth covers with gold titles, top and base of spine, corners are lightly worn, foxing to endpapers and edges. Volume One: 1914 (published in 1916), Third Edition, 344 pages. A few light scuffs and scratches to cover, blue-green stain to tail edge of text, tear to cloth near top of spine at edge, text is clean and unmarked, Good. Volume Two: 1915 (published in 1917), Second Edition, 259 pages, with one fold-out map. Flexible blue cloth covers, spine is faded, covers are scuffed, corners are bumped, edge of fold-out map is creased and foxed, text is unmarked, Good. Volume Three: 1916 (published in 1918), First Edition, 339 pages, plus 3 fold-out maps. Spine is faded, covers lightly scuffed, tear to front endpaper at hinge, front board coming loose, Good. Volume Four: 1917 (published in 1919), First Edition, 299 pages, plus two fold-out maps. Flexible blue cloth covers are clean, green ink stain to tail edge of text, text is clean and unmarked, Very Good. Volume Five: 1918 (published in 1919), First Edition, 349 pages, plus two fold-out maps. A few light scuffs and spots, second fold-out map is torn and in poor condition, Good.. Hard Cover. Good/Good/Good/VG/Good.
