Burgundy cloth, gilt titling on spine, tiny bookbinder's plate inside front cover, grey end papers, black and white illustrations, 676 pages, occasional advertising in text. Cover is clean and bright, minor shelf wear, tiny spot on front and back, leading edge of front cover has a small bump resulting in a small crack to cloth and edge, text block edges slightly darkened/foxed, library ink stamp, pocket and small ink notation inside front cover, edges of endpapers lightly foxed, text is clean and tight. This is a handsome book, in nice condition. Book is overweight. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
