London: Henry G. Bohn, 1852. Full morocco. Fine. 8vo, b& w frontis, unpaginated, 64 b&w plates, with vignettes from Scott's novels. Fine binding is full red morocco. Spine has raised bands and tooled gilt floral motifs between the bands. Title on spine is: "Waverley Gems". Green marbled endpapers with outside edges of covers gilt tooled. All edges gilt. The interior is immaculate.
