New York: The Heritage Press, 1962. Book. Good+. Hardcover. Reprint. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover, cloth spine over decorative paper covered boards, in publisher's black slipcase. 1334 pages. Introduction. Illustrated with numerous line drawing by Valenti Angelo. Volumes I and II (bound as one) of the plain and literal translation of the Arabian Nights Entertainments made and annotated by Richard F. Burton. Includes Heritage Sandglass, which is somewhat toned and cropped at fore-edge, though with no loss to text. Circa 1962. No previous ownership marks. White cloth spine is toned to tan, albeit lettering and decorations unaffected. Else book is clean, square, and unmarked. Original cardboard slipcase in excellent condition. Good+ in a fine slipcase. .
