New York: Oxford University Press, 1953. Third edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Fourth printing of third edition which is actually the 7th edition of an earlier title "The Golden Book" of 1927. Aside from all that this is a 676-page book covering origins of the alphabet, varieties of books and printers and illustrations, bindings, etc. Dark gray/black cloth binding. A couple of light spots on the rear board and a couple of light pencil marks on contents page. No jacket.
