Tony Hillerman's first book introducing Detective Joe Leaphorn of the Navajo Tribal police. The book has some sun fading on the spine and the top spine has been rubbed, but the book is in very good condition with crisp corners, clean and unmarked pages and tight binding. The previous owners name is written on the front flyleaf opposite the title page. There are no library markings. The dust jacket has shelf wear, including nicks, tears and rubbing all around, but it is intact. Stated First Edition on the copyright page, the numbers on the back page are 70 71 72 73 9 8 7 6 5 4 3.
Synopsis
