About This Item

Tony Hillerman's first book introducing Detective Joe Leaphorn of the Navajo Tribal police. The book has some sun fading on the spine and the top spine has been rubbed, but the book is in very good condition with crisp corners, clean and unmarked pages and tight binding. The previous owners name is written on the front flyleaf opposite the title page. There are no library markings. The dust jacket has shelf wear, including nicks, tears and rubbing all around, but it is intact. About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
