About This Item

NY: Random House, 1949. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 1949 Random House Stated First Printing of the 4th book of the Black Stallion series. A beautiful copy in VG/VG condition. The HB is tight with a bit of yellowing to the front and back pages with a very clean & tight text & HB. There has been a tiny bit of water seeping but just along bottom not affecting text. The unclipped DJ is vibrant and bright.

Synopsis

Alec Ramsay gets the chance to discover which of his two stallions, the Black or his son, Satan, is faster when the two horses must race for their lives from a raging forest fire.
