About This Item
New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1922. First edition. SIGNED and INSCRIBED "For John Moffitt with the sincere good wishes of John Hall Wheelock," to which Wheelock has added the last five lines of his poem "The Fish-Hawk" (handwritten by Wheelock) and dated September 28, 1922. Page edges slightly soiled, otherwise fine in somewhat soiled dust jacket with shallow edge chipping, an inconspicuous closed tear in spine and a small abrasion to spine affecting "Panther." Still, an attractive copy that looks better than it sounds.
