About This Item
New York: The Natural Science Association of America, 1895. Hardcover. Poor. Folio. (192) pages. Hardcover bound in half leather and burgundy cloth-covered boards. The binding shows heavy wear, and the boards are detached and soiled with old damping to the front cover. The first few and last few pages are detached. Front flyleaves detached, torn and chipped. There is some damping at the top corner at the front of the book, affecting the frontis (Bald Eagle plate), title page, and about the first 20 plates. There is also some damping towards the rear, mostly staying in the fore edge margin. We have a photo album of this book on our bookshop's Facebook page (Pages Past Used & Rare Books) showing each plate in the book. Collates complete with all 119 color plates.

About Pages Past Used and Rare Books
Pages Past is a small used & rare bookshop located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
