New York: Harcourt Brace and Company, 1946. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Very Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($2.50), generally toned and soiled, faded at the spine, chipped and with some closed tears at the edges. Black buckram, rubbed at the edges, bumped at the corners, gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, dampstain at the top edge, clean internally. Fearing's classic psychological crime novel about a New York love triangle, adapted into the John Farrow film of the same title.
