Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company. Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1960. Hardcover. Stated fourth printing of a collection of 13 short stories by A. B. Guthrie, Jr., acclaimed author of "The Big Sky" and other well-received novels of the American West. Most of these stories are set in the West, many in author's imagined Moon Dance, Montana. With laid in notice of an appearance by Mr. Guthrie in Sheridan, Wyoming on April 11, 1972. --- In brown paper-covered boards backed in black cloth with bold cover titling in white and black; spine titling in white and blue topstain. Volume wrapped in jacket with a color image of shenanigans in the street in Moon Dance. --- A bright, clean, tightly-bound copy. Unclipped dust jacket ($3.50) also in good shape though with tears at rear flap & top front edge, otherwise bright, intact and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; (12), 177 pages .
