Tipped to the front free endpaper is an autograph letter from the author to the book's printer, Theodore De Vinne, requesting an errata slip, and ending with the comment, "P/S -- I am delighted with the book." Hardcover. 8.25" wide by 10.25" tall. Illustrated with many title page facsimiles from early and other significant editions of THE COMPLETE ANGLER. This is a fully descriptive bibliography, with detailed collations, useful notes on editions, reprints, illustrations, etc. Bound in the original gilt-stamped tan boards with parchment spine and corners.
