Number 7 of the 100 examples produced and sold that include the elephant folio sized portfolio holding printed leaves and plates from the first 100 books published by the exemplar of fine-press printing. The Bibliography is slipcased quarto in oatmeal colored linen and matching cloth covered slipcase with black leather title labels to both book and case. Includes detailed entries for each of the first hundred titles accompanied by color reproductions and photos of binding and illustration art. A series of checklists at rear documents out of series publications, Arion Subscriber Keepsakes, Commissioned Works and Bancroft Library keepsakes. A section of b&w photographs appears at the rear of the book documenting the artists, authors and craftsmen involved in the fine-press projects. Prior owner was an Arion collector and the book has the feel of having been consulted and lightly read. He has placed most of the leaves and gatherings of leaves in separate archival envelopes and sleeves to protect edges. The elephant folio sized box holding the letter press leaves is bright and neat, as are the complete set of enclosed specimens.
