Biographical study of one of the first California promoters; includes bibliographical references. One of 600 copies (the entire edition), printed at The Grace Hoper Press; additional publisher's prospectus present (4 pages, 8vo). Signed and inscribed by Kurutz in black ink on first preliminary page, September 28, 1986. Slight browning and rubbing to jacket, with typed spine label (insert with Brodart); slight internal browning to edges and endpapers.1 B/w Photograph (frontispiece Group portrait).
