Gustavo Adolfo Becquer was a Spanish poet, writer, literary columnist, playwright and drawer considered one of the most important figures in Spanish literature. Best known works are the Rhymes and the Legends, usually published together as Rimas y leyendas, common reading for high-school students in Spanish-speaking countries. Text in Spanish. 246 pp. 9" x 6 1/2". Tight, unmarked copy with light shelf wear, faint age toning and three small, faint stains to front panel.
