This is the 1963 first ed. in English, published in London. 130 p., plus index, clean and unmarked, on fine paper only mildly age-toned; "56 plates in full color"; color insert from magazine, one page showing color ill. of butterflies and the second page giving their identities; binding tight; gray boards with beautiful stamped design and lettering in still bright gilt are without discernible wear. The glossy pictorial d.j. shows slight rubbing at crown and foot of spine panel and a crease at lower margin of front panel.
