Remains a nice, bright and sturdy copy of this renowned MIT edition. "The primary purpose of this publication is documenation. It is intended to acquaint the reader with the significant milestones in Bauhuas history- significant in the immediate as well as in the secondary sense- and as a detailed commentary to the documented facts. It was not our aim to establish a theory. Final judgment about the accomplishment of the Bauhuas will undergo many changes for a long time to come; this is a sure sign of its vitality. This presentation serves exclusively to supply source material. It would be most welcome if the material here presented would contribute to further intellectual studies." - Preface, page ix.
