Each page of text is accompanied by an illustration by Jeanette McLeod. illustrated dustwrapper, illustrated endpapers. Grape and white coloured boards with white coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper, again by Jeanette McLeod, with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The Barossa Valley is much more than a winemaking tourist trap. South Australia, indeed Australia's favourite children's fiction novelist -- February Dragon -- Storm Boy, "... uses witty and sometimes poetic prose to tell of the people, the customs, the winemakers and the splendid churches." – from the front fold over panel blurb. Rubbing to the back strip corners and book corners. Browning and foxing to the top text block edge. A little chipping of the top dustwrapper corners and rubbing of the dustwrapper edges. There is a 0.75" tear to the top left hand corner of the front panel and the back strip is faded. Remains of the sticker can be seen to the top right hand corner of the front panel and there is light browning to the verso along with some foxing spots.
