Scarce. This work is on band spectra, also published in the March 15, 1930 issue of Nature. "This [monograph] appears at a time when rapid progress is being made both on the theoretical side by Hund, Mulliken, and others, and on the experimental side by a large number of workers in many countries." [Nature]. Richard Ruedy was associated with the University of Toronto. Ruedy was interested in the theory of dispersion and absorbing energy for optical properties of different metals.
