Thomas B Mosher. Portland, Maine. 1902. Third Mosher Edition. Limited to 925 copies on Van Gelder paper. Originally published in 1872. 8vo. (7.1 x 3.9 inches). Fine, clean copy in a fine leather binding for Hatchards of London. Contemporary full tan morocco. Spine with raised bands. Compartments double box ruled and pips in gilt. Blind ruling extending onto boards and ending with a floral device around each raised band. Gilt ruled borders, with floral corner pieces and dots on boards. Front board with title in gilt. Triple gilt ruled turn-ins. All edges gilt. Previous owners bookplate to the front paste down endpaper. Some offsetting to the blank endpapers from the leather turn-ins and the bottom corners a little bumped but overall a fine, bright copy in a highly attractive early binding.
