[n.p., c.1865].. 8vo. Title and 26 unnumbered leaves. Cloth backed red card boards. Contemporary ownership inscription of a Miss J. Torrens Roy of Skirbeck Rectory, Boston (Lincolnshire) to lower corner of title page. Title with a circular vignette illustration, each of the subsequent leaves with a black and white illustration. Covers worn and creased, contents generally very good. A version of Calverley's poem "A.B.C." and effectively an illustrated alphabet - "A was the Angel of 'charming eighteen;'", "B was the Ball where the Angel was seen" and so forth. Calverley's name and the real title of the poem do not appear anywhere in the volume, the title page bears that above and the author's name as Gandab, the illustator is given as "G.C.R."
