Binding tight, pages clean and bright, unmarked. Inscribed "Many thanks to ____ - Best Wishes from Ruth Robbins" on blank back of endpaper opposite title page. Endpapers are illustrated and back endpaper is uncut. DJ Good+ with 3/4" closed tear at top back edge and 3 small chips at top of spine edge. Small hole chip 1/2" from bottom of spine. Caldecott Medallion on front panel. DJ inside flap state it is a Library Edition but book has no stamps or markings. Adapted from a Russian folk tale. ; 6.80 X 7.25 X 0.35 inches; Unpaginated pages; Signed by author .
