London:T. Nelson and Sons, 1875. Octavo, original publisher's deep green cloth, blocked in black and gilt, pp. 175. Two colour illustrations and numerous others in b&w. Stories about Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Rice, Honey &c. by these Victorian writers who helped popularize science through their work. Scattered foxing, faint pencil inscription on endpaper, a few bent corners, some bubbling to the boards, two dime-sized damp-stains on rear covers, else near fine and especially bright. .
