About This Item
Hardcover. Book Condition: Near Fine. Jacket Condition: No Jacket (as issued). Robert M. Bowie, Orono, ME 2014. First Edition. 1st Printing. 52 lists + 28 pages. Nice Firm Clean copy ! Size: 4to 9.75 - 12'' tall. Introduction: The Morgan Motor Company indeed had parts lists. They are not commonly found. They could and should be called elusive. These hand typed originals would have originally been distributed to dealerships with pricing. It was thought best to share the information they contain for its importance. The cars they cover are now 60-75 years old. This information might be helpful in a proper restoration, finding parts, or in the vintage racing of the Morgan cars. It shows how the factory viewed and really supported the full line of spares to keep the Morgan automobiles on the road. This book is intended to be used as a reference for older Morgan automobiles. There are older published lists, for the three wheeler and for the early 1950's Series II time period. These are not included in this reference book. Contents: Lists Overview. 1960's Plus 4 list. Numbering System as used. The 4/4 Parts List. SCCA Production Car Specifications. Dealer Options. Utility of the Lists. Parts without numbering. Conclusion. (28 pages). Morgan Plus 4/4 parts list (52 pages). Automotive/Transportation::Auto Repair 6046L
