Celebrated bookman, the late Jenkins tells 7 great stories about adventures in the book business, including aiding in apprehending a gang of theives who stole the Audubon portfolio. He was also a champion poker player who went by Austin Squatty. Pemberton Press is part of Jenkins Publishing Co. Beautifully published book. Book is in fine, unread condition. Dust jacket has tears at the head and tail of the spine and is sunned on the spine. The author has signed on the front free end page (no inscription). An undervalued book.
