Includes a black and white print by Terpning produced especially for this publication, loosely laid in at front. Color illustrated monograph on the work of Frank C. McCarthy, best known for his depictions of Native Americans and the American West. Sections include: The Plains Indian; Mountain Men; The Hunter Warriors; The Cavalry; Storm Over the Plains; Traveling West. Rich brown cloth, 160 pages, illustrated dustjacket. The book is about fine condition, looks and feels new and unread, firm binding, clean pages, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [60.00] and is also about fine with only light rubbing to the rear panel and a very tiny surface chip to the lower corner of the front panel, essentially no paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
