About This Item
London: B.T. Batsford, 1907. Decorative Cloth. Very Good. The 1907 3rd edition, "revised and enlarged". A very presentable copy, in its light-green cloth, with bright gilt-design and titling along the front panel and spine. Light spotting to the rear panel, mild darkening along the front panel's fore-edge, light wear to the rear inner hinge. Internally, very clean, with no writing or markings to speak of. Folio, top-edge gilt, lovely pictorial pastedowns and endpapers. 262 illustrations (mostly crisp black-and-white photos) plus dozens and dozens of sketches and details. One of the great turn-of-the-century studies of "garden making"
