FIRST EDITION 1801. 8vo, approximately 235 x 145 mm, 9¼ x 5¾, engraved dedication page and 12 engraved plates showing bill of fare for each month, pages: xxiv, [1]-314, plus 22 pages of Index, last page blank, half-title present, rebound in modern quarter morocco with matching cloth covers, extra gilt spine with gilt lettered label, vertical gilt design dividing leather from cloth, new endpapers, edges untrimmed. Pale age browning and foxing throughout, small pale stain to a few outer margins, several shallow turning creases to top margins, otherwise a good copy.
