Hardcover, no dustjacket, green cloth with the original mounted title and illustration on the front cover, this copy is in great shape, a slight lean to the spine and mild rubbing at the corner-tips and spine-ends are the only remarkable flaws, the binding is tight, bright and clean and the contents are fine, includes photos and a double-page end-paper map, "Florence Hayes made an extended journey through Alaska in 1939 accompanying a party sent to take photographs and gather fresh information on the mission work carried on there by the Presbyterian Church in the USA," the former owner's name, "Sister Mildred Fretz" is present on the blank front end-paper, it is easily eraseable if not of interest to the new owner ; 132 pages .
