Binding is solid and square, text/interior is clean and free of marking except for front endpaper with prev. owner's name in pen and glued plate. Illustrated red endpapers, 296 pages with Mr. Harriman's illustrations throughout. Chapters include: a radical flea, archy revolts, archy climbs everest, archy flies, kidding the boss, becoming a low brow, mehitabel meets her mate, mehitabel pulls a party, mehitabel joins the navy, what is a lady, what the ants are saying.
