History of theater architecture from antiquity to the present, with numerous plans and diagrams. Additional essay by Agnoldomenico Pica; includes index of public architecture surveyed. A good+ copy with wear to head of spine; slight rubbing and bumping to extremities (chiefly top edges and corners); slight rubbing to covers; inner hinges slightly weakening, with consequent shaking to few signatures; slight internal browning to edges and endpapers; still a fairly serviceable copy. Sold 'as is'.21 Color & 345 b/w illustrations; 454 b/w diagrams/plans.
