First Editon 1916; Front and back covers show some wear with rubbing, discoloration, slight fraying along the edges, and a couple of bent corners; Inside front cover has indications of a library card removal and the word "Discarded" stamped at center of page; Front free-endpaper has a previous owner's name and the date "April 9 - 1917" written at the top of page in ink and a previous owner's bookplate center of page; Front free-endpaper and half title page have partially separated from the binding; Full title page has a library stamp at the bottom center of page; Pages have discolored from age but are otherwise clean; Back paste down has partially separated from spine.
