Garden City, NY: Doubleday Doran & Co. . VG. 1933. 1st Edition/Limited. Hardcover. Stated first edition, one of 2350 copies printed on rag paper, as stat ed on the dust jacket's inside front flap. The book is bound in blue c loth with a gold leaf design on the front board and gold spine letteri ng. A Very Good copy in a Very Good dust jacket. The book is housed in a maroon cloth and half leather tray case. The tray case has four rai sed bands and title, author and "First Edition/ 1932" printed in gold. The book has dusting to the cloth boards, a slight fade to the spine and a 1/2" round water spot on the rear board. Former owner's name is inked at the upper right edge of the front fly leaf. The dust jacket h as two tiny splits on the spine tips, one small chip to the bottom lef t corner of the rear panel and dust spotting to both its front and ver so. The Very Good tray case has water spotting on the inner edges of t he maroon cloth, tiny rub marks to the head of the leather spine and o ne small tear on the side of the leather quarter panel. .
