Bumped extremities; cloth worn at edges and corners. Cocked. Dusty top text block edge, remaining edges just starting to fox and tan. Front free endpaper missing. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Hinges cracked at endpapers. Ex-lender's copy with usual stamps and markings on pastedown and endpapers, title page and copyright page. Internally neat, clean and bright. Dust jacket has general wear; multiple closed tears; minor loss, sun-faded spine; shelf label; chipping to edges; mirrors book damage; not price clipped. Black and white chapter headpieces and vignette.
